Retractable Safety Syringes TM from World Industries,
Inc., Guardian Healthcare Systems in the spectrum of "safety
syringes" provides highest level of technical safety to the
medical practitioner and and consumer.
The syringe system is
designed to disable its piston after the first and only use of
the syringe, therefore, rendering itself self-destructible to
stop further use.
Following the
Auto-Disable function of the Guardian Snap Retractable Safety
Syringe TM syringe system retracts the piston and
stainless steel hypodermic needle backwards into the volumetric
barrel instead of leaving the needle exposed for the medical
practitioner or user to recap the syringe. It is public
knowledge that significant needle-stick injuries are experienced
from "recapping" and from exposed needed outside of the barrel
after its application.
In the final step of
application following the retraction of the hypodermic needle
into the volumetric barrel the Guardian Snap Retractable Safety
Syringe plunger "SNAPs" off the piston and needle system
providing a second feature of safety to the overall application
